Brazil Background
Data sourced: 2025.   Page updated: 2026-08-19

Brazil has strict regulations on e-cigarettes and vaping, banning their importation, sale, use, and advertising. However, it is unclear whether e-cigarettes can be imported for personal use. If you have an update, please share it with the GSTHR team.

The adult current vaping prevalence was 1.4% among females and 2.9% among males. 7.4% of respondents reported that they had ever tried vaping, in a survey conducted in 2022.
